We believe in educating the user, so they can learn from there computer experiences and we also believe in not charging the customer for something that we do not know how to do. If we am unable to repair a problem or give a better solution to a problem then we will not charge over and above a basic rate of getting the problem fixed freelanced. Below is a list of some of the typical services we provide:
- Problem diagnosis:
I'll find out what is wrong with your computer.
- Virus and spyware removal:
Removal of any and all viruses and spyware
- Performance optimization:
I can make your computer perform better, even without hardware upgrades
- Windows/OS reinstall or upgrade:
Sometimes it's just not possible to fully remove a virus, a system may be too far gone and a reinstall is necessary.
Sometimes you just want the latest shiny version of Windows
- Software install/upgrades:
Want some new software?
- Backup: When a system is having maintenance, I can backup to DVD or external devices (USB, Hard-drive) if requested. I can even do secondary hard-drive installs, so you can do your own backup on a regular basis.
- Hardware repairs/replacements:
If your computer is crashing quite often, it may be due to a failing component. I can replace certain system components.
- I can suggest whether it is better to upgrade/repair, or if it is better to just buy a new computer or laptop to keep costs down.
- Education on computers. I can teach basic step by step knowledge about operating systems and internet surfing and safety. Don’t be afraid to ask about anything, I am willing to explain in the most basic of terms if necessary, so you, the user, will understand and learn from your experience.
- I offer Operating System software training and maintenance, so you can learn for the future how to maintain your own system.
- Wired /Wireless routers
- Case cleaning:
Most people don't know this, but a computer case should be cleaned out regularly. They collect a lot of dust which can cause the computer to overheat and cause fans to fail prematurely.
All repairs are off-site.
We offer to pick-up and/or drop-off for a low flat rate cost.
Any on-site training or tech support over the phone is $35/hour. |
